STAINLESS STEEL BUTT WELD FITTING
Stainless Steel 304 Buttweld Fittings are made up of a basic austenitic stainless steel material that has 18% chromium and 8% nickel in its composition. This composition provides the material with strength and corrosion resistance.
Stainless Steel 316 Buttweld Fittings are made up of a chromium nickel molybdenum alloyed austenitic stainless steel. The material has good corrosion resistance, similar strength to the 304 grade steel and good hardness.
A buttweld fitting is a weldable pipe fitting that allows for change of direction of flow, to branch off, reduce pipe size or attach auxiliary equipment.
